SCOTT MURRAY
Master of Ceremonies
For close to a quarter of a century Scott Murray was the multi Emmy Award-winning Sports Director and TV Anchor at NBC, Dallas/Ft. Worth. During his three decades of television sports, various news/media organizations such as the Associated Press, United Press International and Dallas Press Club named Scott “Sportscaster of the Year” 17 times! In 2002, he was named recipient of the prestigious Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Today, “retired” Scott remains active in the media world as a published author, a sought-after keynote and motivational speaker, and, Chairman/CEO of his own communications/video production company, Murray Media. Scott, inducted into the Philanthropy World Hall of Fame in 1996, remains very involved with numerous civic and charitable organizations, including his own Scott Murray Foundation, “Lifting Spirits…Building Dreams.”
The Colleyville Woman’s Club’s Fashion Benefit is most grateful for Scott’s willingness to share his talents, whether on the runway as a model, as a dynamic auctioneer or as an entertaining emcee. It is CWC’s honor to enthusiastically welcome and deeply thank our own hometown “Champion for Charity,” Scott Murray, as he returns as our 2011 “Lunch with the Girlz” Master of Ceremonies!

JAN STRIMPLE
Producer
Internationally recognized as one of fashions most glamorous and professional runway models. Her porcelain complexion and statuesque six-foot tall frame are immortalized by London’s Adele Roostein mannequin company, you have undoubtedly seen her posed in the finest store windows. Throughout her career, her face regularly graced the pages of W, Vogue, and the leading European fashion magazines.
Today, Jan and her husband Dan, a PGA Golf Professional, embrace their Texas roots as Jan pursues the creative and scheduling challenges of owning the premiere fashion event production company in Dallas-Fort Worth. Her staff includes both free-lance professionals loyal to her vision of excellence, and fashion interns earning school credit hours alongside Dallas’ leading fashion pros.
This year’s 2011 CWC Fashion benefit, “Lunch with the Girlz,” marks Strimple’s ninth partnership with Colleyville Woman’s Club. Jan’s creative flair and energy always deliver, and we thank Jan for sharing not only her talents, but also her personal dedication to CWC’s organization and its mission.

The sparkling new Hurst Conference Center has partnered with Colleyville Woman's Club to host a fresh approach to the event. The state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex, just 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and DFW International Airport. Lovely entrance areas will also feature the silent, Big Board and Designer Spotlight auctions, as well as the designers' trunk show immediately following the program.
