Rhythm and Hues Fashion Show and Dinner Benefit

The Colleyville Woman’s Club 25th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show Benefit “Rhythm and Hues” will be full of fun, fashion and fun-raising! The rendezvous point is the Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel on March 26, 2010. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

This spectacular show has a well-established history. Saks Fifth Avenue, Galleria, will once again highlight its signature couture using the creative talents of Jan Strimple Productions, and promises an electrifying event! Mark your calendar, buy your ticket and plan to join Emcee Scott Murray as he raises charity dollars through exciting Live, Silent and Big Board Auctions.

While fashion may appear the focus, philanthropy is the passion behind the afternoon of entertainment and fellowship. The event counts on the generous support of local businesses, sponsors and CWC volunteers to make a difference in the lives of thousands of area residents. Returning this year as Presenting Media Sponsor is the Star-Telegram, including its media partners Indulge, Living With Panache and The Colleyville Courier. CWC enthusiastically acknowledges a 20-year history of support by Presenting Sponsor American Airlines, and eagerly welcomes first-time Presenting Sponsors Grapevine Ford and Texas Nissan of Grapevine.

Volunteer members exemplify the Club’s motto of “Caring With Commitment,” as they host and organize one of the most successful charitable fashion events in the Metroplex. Club priorities focus on aiding victims of domestic violence, along with social welfare, health and safety issues, education, literacy, the arts and civic endeavors. In 2009, Colleyville Woman’s Club donated more than $135,000 to local charities. This year, the need is greater than ever as the current economic situation creates hardships for more and charities.

“The Colleyville Woman’s Club has publicly demonstrated its support for domestic violence victims,” said Mary Lee Hafley, CEO of SafeHaven of Tarrant County. “They spoke out, educating their members and the community. And, they gave generously. SafeHaven and our clients are indebted to CWC for its unwavering support.”

Tables for 10 with premier runway seating are $1,500. Platinum tables with premium seating are $1,250. Gold tables are $1000; individual tickets are also available.
